Daoxing Tianzun

道行天尊

Daoxing Tianzun is one of the Twelve Immortals of the Chan tradition in Investiture of the Gods and resides at Yuwu Cave on Jinting Mountain. His clearest narrative identity comes from his network of disciples and his participation in the great array battles, rather than from a single consistently named personal treasure.

His disciples include Han Dulong, Xue Ehu, and Weihu. Han Dulong and Xue Ehu die in episodes connected with the Ten Absolute Arrays, while Weihu is sent down from the mountain to aid the Zhou cause. The Demon-Subduing Pestle belongs to Weihu and must not be reassigned to Daoxing Tianzun merely because of their teacher-disciple connection.

As a Chan immortal, Daoxing Tianzun takes part in major confrontations including the Ten Absolute Arrays and the Zhuxian Array. During the Zhuxian Array action he is responsible for taking down the Juexian Sword. That task gives him a specific place in the coordinated breaking of the array, but it does not make the Juexian Sword an everyday personal possession.

This foundation therefore centers on the immortal of Yuwu Cave, the teacher of three named disciples, and a participant in decisive array campaigns. It does not invent a personal treasure, fixed costume, or unsupported appearance. Future portraits and reliable attached works may enrich those visual layers.
