The Mist-Dew Universe Net is an important treasure used by Princess Longji during Luo Xuan’s attack on Xiqi.
Its defining feature is the “mist and dew” carried by the net, which becomes true water and counters Luo Xuan’s fire crows.
Fire Crows Attack the City
Luo Xuan releases large numbers of fire crows as part of his fire-based assault.
They fly into Xiqi and set the city ablaze. Ordinary water cannot easily control this immortal fire.
True Water Overcomes Fire
Princess Longji orders her attendant to spread the Mist-Dew Universe Net.
The mist and dew in the net become true water. The fire crows are drawn into it and the blaze is brought under control.
This is not an ordinary capturing net. It combines four visual and functional qualities: net, water, containment, and the power to overcome fire.
CG Visual Language
- a large, flexible net
- fine strands
- droplets and mist across its surface
- water vapor forming as it opens
- the ability to envelop fire crows
It should never resemble a metal fishing net. It is closer to a divine net made from immortal vapor, mist, dew, and true water.
