Gao Jineng is an officer under Kong Xuan at Golden Rooster Ridge in Investiture of the Gods. He fights with a spear and carries the Centipede-Bee Bag, which releases a dark swarm capable of blinding men and mounts. Nezha wounds his shoulder with the Qiankun Ring before the bag can fully decide their first encounter, but Gao withdraws with his most dangerous resource intact.
During the night fighting he turns the swarm against Huang Tianhua. The bees sting the eyes of the Jade Qilin, making the divine mount rear and throw its rider. Gao Jineng closes at once and drives his spear into Huang Tianhua, killing one of Jiang Ziya’s prominent young disciples. The victory shows how he fights: the insects do not replace martial skill, but create the instant in which his spear can finish an otherwise superior opponent.
The Zhou side answers with an exact counter. Chong Heihu opens his gourd and releases Iron-Beaked Divine Eagles, which devour the centipede-bees. Gao Jineng then has to face five mounted generals without the cover of his swarm. His spearwork holds for a time, but the encirclement breaks his order and Huang Feihu strikes him beneath the ribs. At the investiture Gao becomes the Black Killer Star. His compact story is built around reversal: a hidden swarm brings down Huang Tianhua, then another animal treasure consumes the swarm and leaves its master exposed to the dead warrior’s father.
