The Nailhead Seven-Arrows Book is the ritual object Luya Daoren gives Jiang Ziya to bring down Zhao Gongming in Investiture of the Gods. Its power is inseparable from a timed procedure, a named effigy, lamps, bows, seals, and repeated worship.
Chapter 48 has Luya produce the book and instruct Jiang Ziya to build a platform. A straw figure bears Zhao Gongming’s name; lamps stand at its head and feet, and Jiang performs the rite three times daily for twenty-one days before the arrows complete it. The episode treats the book as a script for action, not a weapon swung by hand.
The book makes remote ritual violence visible through an ordered set of objects and days. Its page should not invent a generalized curse system. What matters is this specific transfer of knowledge from Luya to Jiang Ziya and the morally troubling way an absent opponent is made vulnerable.
