The Taiji Diagram is Laojun’s world-ordering treasure in Investiture of the Gods. The novel describes it as a diagram that divided clear from turbid, stabilized earth, water, fire, and wind, and contains the patterns of the cosmos; in action it can unfold into traversable space.
Chapter 44 has Laojun lend the diagram to Chijingzi during the effort to recover Jiang Ziya’s souls from the Fallen-Soul Formation. Chapter 77 shows Laojun spread it into a golden bridge and enter the Immortal-Trapping Gate of the Zhuxian formation without obstruction.
The treasure joins cosmology to passage. It does not merely fire an attack: it orders unstable ground, opens a way, and lets its bearer cross a lethal boundary. The image can present a diagram or unfurled scroll-like field, while the text preserves its larger function of making structure from chaos.
