Chest Armor

Chest Armor is an additional protective component centered on the chest and attached to Front Body Armor. In the CG vocabulary it is structurally distinct from the main front torso armor, even when its appearance is a plate or reinforced panel.

Its purpose is to guard the upper front torso and to give the figure a strong central field for construction, emblem, or ornament.

Body Armor names the whole front-and-rear torso structure; Front Body Armor names its primary front half. Chest Armor is the added chest component, so neither a local ornament nor an additional plate is mistaken for the entire torso defense.

CG Reconstruction Interpretation

Stabilization may use cords, iron rings, leather straps, ties passing around the neck or beneath the arms, or other plausible connections appropriate to the example. The CG model allows this variety rather than prescribing one universal fastening.

Chest Armor can form an upper node in the front chain, connecting the front torso foundation to Belly Swallow and lower components without replacing the independently stable Body Armor beneath it.
