Front Apron

Front Apron is the protective hanging panel at the lower front of the Layer II armor. The approved CG diagram labels it 前裙甲; the source-order form 裙甲(前) is retained as an alternate source label.

It sits below the Front Body Armor and protects the front waist and lower torso area as a distinct Layer II panel.

Front Apron belongs to the front body-armor assembly. It is not the existing first-layer Skirt Panel subject, which names the two side and lower panels suspended from the Armor Support Vest.

Keeping these identities separate makes the layering legible: first-layer Skirt Panels form part of the support and suspension layer, while Front Apron completes the lower front of Layer II.

CG Reconstruction Interpretation

The Front Apron is a front-side hanging armor element supported by the front body-armor arrangement. Cords, rings, straps, or equivalent connections can secure the panel beneath the upper front components while retaining controlled movement.

It belongs to the lower front structural chain associated with Front Body Armor, Chest Armor, Belly Swallow, and the front belt. This CG reconstruction explanation does not rename it Guwei: Front Apron / 前裙甲 remains distinct from Rear Apron / 鹘尾.
