The Eight-Tiger Chariot is an important visual marker for Shen Gongbao in the Ten Thousand Immortals Formation.
Shen Gongbao usually appears as a Daoist and persuader. In the formation, however, he sits on the Eight-Tiger Chariot and oversees the assembled immortals, gaining the visual weight of a battlefield commander.
Overseeing the Immortals
The Ten Thousand Immortals Formation is the Jie tradition’s final large-scale battle. Shen Gongbao’s place on the chariot signals that he has moved from roaming persuasion into a coordinating position within the war system.
The chariot is therefore more than transportation. It represents command.
Eight Tigers
The name gives the central idea: Eight-Tiger Chariot. CG should not assume this only means eight painted tiger images.
Possible later designs may use tiger power, tiger-shaped structures, or tiger beasts as traction. Whether eight living tigers pull it must remain open until further source and Visual Canon review.
