Ji Fa is the son of Ji Chang and the supreme political leader of the Zhou campaign against the Shang in Investiture of the Gods. He later becomes known as King Wu of Zhou.
After Ji Chang’s death, Ji Fa inherits the Xiqi cause. Supported by Jiang Ziya, Zhou commanders, and supernatural allies associated with the Chan tradition, he leads a struggle that steadily expands into full-scale war against the Shang.
During the campaign, the Zhou forces confront fortified passes, powerful commanders, magical weapons, and supernatural opponents. Figures such as Nezha, Erlang Shen, and Lei Zhenzi become important members of the military world fighting on Ji Fa’s side.
As Shang resistance collapses, Ji Fa completes the conquest and establishes the Zhou dynasty. Within Celestial Generals, his primary role is that of a political center connecting Jiang Ziya, Ji Chang, and the many martial and supernatural figures involved in the Investiture war.
