The Scorpion Demon is a female demon in Journey to the West whose human guise conceals a venomous scorpion form. She carries away Tang Seng and confidently faces Sun Wukong and Zhu Bajie with the poison in her tail.
The Scorpion Form
Her true form is a scorpion, and the tail is the source of her most feared attack. The sting wounds even powerful opponents who close with her in battle.
Horse-Felling Poison
Her signature power is the Horse-Felling Poison, delivered through the sting of her tail. It wounds even powerful opponents and makes direct combat with her unusually dangerous.
Conflict with the Pilgrims
She carries Tang Seng away and fights Sun Wukong and Zhu Bajie when they attempt a rescue. Their usual strength does not overcome the poison.
Mao Ri Xingguan
Mao Ri Xingguan provides the decisive counter. His celestial rooster nature breaks the Scorpion Demon’s advantage and brings the battle to an end.
