The Green-Maned Lion is the original form of Qiushou Xian.
Qiushou Xian defends the Taiji Formation inside the Ten Thousand Immortals Formation. After Wenshu Guangfa Tianzun captures him, he reveals the body of a Green-Maned Lion and later becomes Wenshu’s mount.
From Jie Adept to Divine-Beast Mount
Qiushou Xian first fights in human form as a sword-bearing adept. After his defeat, he is forced to reveal his original body, and a great green-maned lion appears.
The transformation has strong visual force: a moment earlier he is a Daoist fighting before the formation; the next he is a colossal divine lion.
The Green Mane
The source explicitly emphasizes green hair. CG should therefore avoid the appearance of an ordinary yellow lion.
The mane can draw from cool colors such as:
- blue-green
- green-gray
- ink green
- deep cool green
The lion should still retain weight, dignity, and leonine power.
Wenshu’s Mount
The Green-Maned Lion later becomes the mount of Wenshu Guangfa Tianzun. This gives it a high-value relationship chain: Qiushou Xian, the Taiji Formation, Wenshu, and the Green-Maned Lion.
