Princess Longji is the daughter of the Haotian Supreme God and the Queen Mother of the Jade Pool in Investiture of the Gods. Exiled to Blue Luan Pavilion on Phoenix Mountain, she enters the Zhou campaign when Luo Xuan sets Xiqi ablaze. The novel shows her arriving on a blue luan in a fishtail crown and deep-red gauze robe, carrying the composed bearing of an immortal maiden into an active battlefield.
Her treasures directly answer Luo Xuan’s fire magic. Biyun Tongzi spreads the Mist-Dew Universe Net, whose true water gathers the fire crows and quenches the city. Princess Longji then uses the Four Seas Vase to take the Five-Dragon Wheel and the cloud-and-smoke treasure, while the Two-Dragon Sword kills Liu Huan and drives Luo Xuan back. She later recognizes Hong Jin’s Banner-Gate Escape Art, counters his inner gate with an outer gate, pursues him through the five elements, and captures him.
The captured enemies become husband and wife through an immortal marriage arrangement, and Hong Jin thereafter fights beside her for Zhou. Their partnership ends in the final supernatural battles: Jinling Sacred Mother kills Princess Longji with the Four Symbols Pagoda, and Hong Jin dies when he charges forward to avenge her. The blue-luan mount, water-subduing treasures, sword, and crimson robes preserve both sides of her role—banished celestial princess and effective woman general.
