Jinling Sacred Mother is one of Tongtian Jiaozhu’s most important senior disciples. The novel places Duobao Daoist, Jinling Sacred Mother, Wudang Sacred Mother, and Guiling Sacred Mother together among his leading disciples.
Her status is high, but her identity is also clearly martial. Unlike senior immortals who remain behind the scenes, Jinling Sacred Mother enters the center of battle, carries weapons, deploys treasures, and kills opponents directly.
The Seven-Fragrance Chariot
Within the Ten Thousand Immortals Array, Jinling Sacred Mother rides the Seven-Fragrance Chariot and organizes the formation’s divisions. The chariot is both her mount and her command vehicle within the array.
She does not watch from behind the array. She actively directs Jie-tradition disciples within it.
The Flying Golden Sword
When Longji Princess and Hong Jin charge into the array, they encounter Jinling Sacred Mother. She dismounts and meets them with the Flying Golden Sword, establishing her ability to fight directly with a weapon.
The Four Symbols Pagoda and Dragon-Tiger Ruyi
During the fight, Jinling Sacred Mother releases the Four Symbols Pagoda. Longji Princess cannot evade it and is killed by a blow to the head. Hong Jin charges forward to avenge his wife, and Jinling Sacred Mother kills him with the Dragon-Tiger Ruyi.
Her record in the array is therefore direct and unmistakable: she kills Longji Princess and Hong Jin in succession.
Fighting Three Great Adepts Alone
As the Ten Thousand Immortals Array collapses, Jinling Sacred Mother is surrounded by Wenshu, Puxian, and Cihang. She resists multiple opponents with a jade ruyi. The novel describes a long struggle: her golden crown is knocked away, yet she continues fighting with her hair loose.
Only when Randeng Daoren strikes the crown of her head with the Dinghai Pearl is she finally killed. Her martial image does not come from ambush or a brief defeat, but from sustained direct combat against several high-ranking opponents.
Investiture
After her death, Jinling Sacred Mother receives the high office of Doumu in the celestial Dou division.
