Overview

燕青，绰号“浪子”，是《水浒传》中卢俊义最亲近的心腹，也是梁山好汉之一。他自幼由卢俊义收养，聪明机敏，武艺出众，又精通吹箫唱曲、相扑等技艺，在梁山人物中兼具侠客与风流人物的气质。 卢俊义遭管家李固陷害时，燕青始终忠于主人。他设法营救卢俊义，并在卢俊义走投无路之后帮助他与梁山建立联系。燕青也因此进入梁山体系，成为卢俊义身边最可靠的人物之一。 上梁山后，燕青除了参与征战，还多次凭借自己的机敏和交际能力完成特殊任务。他曾在泰安州相扑击败擎天柱任原，又奉命前往东京活动，并通过李师师等人的关系为梁山招安之事寻找门路。 梁山接受招安并完成征战后，燕青看出功成之后继续留在官场可能招致祸患，于是劝卢俊义一同退隐。卢俊义没有接受，燕青则独自离去，从此远离功名。他的结局使他成为梁山人物中少数真正主动摆脱最终悲剧的人之一。

Yan Qing, nicknamed the “Prodigal,” is one of the Liangshan heroes in Water Margin and the most trusted companion of Lu Junyi. Raised in Lu Junyi’s household from a young age, he grows into an intelligent and highly versatile man, skilled in martial arts, wrestling, music, and the social arts of the wandering world. When Lu Junyi is betrayed by his steward Li Gu, Yan Qing remains loyal to his master. He attempts to protect and rescue him and later helps connect the desperate Lu Junyi with Liangshan. Through these events, Yan Qing himself becomes part of the Liangshan brotherhood and remains one of Lu Junyi’s closest supporters. At Liangshan, Yan Qing proves useful far beyond the battlefield. He famously defeats the wrestler Ren Yuan at Mount Tai and later undertakes delicate missions in the capital. His charm, musical ability, and connection with Li Shishi help open channels through which Liangshan pursues imperial amnesty. After the campaigns are completed, Yan Qing recognizes the danger of remaining within official life after military success. He urges Lu Junyi to withdraw with him, but Lu Junyi refuses. Yan Qing leaves alone and disappears from the world of rank and reward, becoming one of the few Liangshan heroes who consciously escapes the tragedy awaiting many of his companions.
