杨延昭，北宋名将，杨业之子，民间俗称“杨六郎”，是杨家将故事中的核心人物之一。历史上的杨延昭长期镇守北疆，以沉稳坚毅、善于防守著称，在宋辽边境抵御辽军数十年，因治军严明、作战勇敢而深受士卒爱戴，是北宋早期重要的边疆将领。 在《杨家将》等民间文学与戏曲作品中，杨六郎被塑造成一位年轻而成熟的儒将形象。他手使长枪，足智多谋，坚忍刚毅，在父亲杨业之后继续肩负守卫北疆的责任。杨延昭既继承了杨门忠勇精神，又展现出沉着谋略与统帅才能，是杨家将承上启下的重要人物，也是中国传统武将文化中“忠诚、责任与守护”精神的代表。

Yang Yanzhao was a prominent military commander of the Northern Song dynasty and the son of the legendary general Yang Ye. Commonly known in folklore as “Yang Liulang” (the Sixth Yang Son), he became one of the central figures in the Yang Family Generals legends. Historically, Yang Yanzhao spent decades defending the northern frontier against the Khitan Liao forces. Renowned for his steadfast character, defensive strategies, strict military discipline, and courage in battle, he earned the loyalty and respect of his soldiers and became one of the most important frontier commanders of the early Northern Song period. In popular literature and opera, including the Yang Family Generals tradition, Yang Liulang is portrayed as a young yet mature strategist-warrior. Wielding a long spear, he combines martial strength with intelligence and careful planning. Following his father Yang Ye’s legacy, he continued the responsibility of protecting the northern borders and upholding the honor of the Yang family. Representing the continuation of the Yang family’s heroic spirit, Yang Yanzhao embodies the traditional ideals of loyalty, duty, and guardianship in Chinese warrior culture.
