Dai Li is one of the Seven Monsters of Mount Mei in Investiture of the Gods. He is a dog spirit who arrives as another Mount Mei fighter and enters battle beside Yang Xian.
Paired Sabers
Dai Li fights with two sabers and directly engages Nezha. The paired blades give the human form a fast, close-range rhythm distinct from Yang Xian’s halberd and Yuan Hong’s iron staff.
The Red Pearl
Dai Li can spit out a red pearl large enough to strike like a projectile. The pearl drives Nezha back and later becomes the central magical threat when Dai Li fights Erlang Shen.
Dog Spirit and Celestial Hound
Erlang Shen releases the Howling Celestial Dog, which avoids the red pearl and seizes Dai Li. The clash between the two canine powers exposes Dai Li’s original dog-spirit form and ends his resistance.
