Shi Jin

Overview

史进是《水浒传》中最早登场的梁山好汉之一，因身上刺有九条青龙而绰号“九纹龙”。他出身华州史家村富户，自幼酷爱武艺，豪爽跋扈，是典型的富家纨绔子弟，后拜八十万禁军教头王进为师，武艺突飞猛进。史进年轻气盛、豪侠任性，其满身龙纹、赤膊持械的形象极具视觉冲击力。随着故事发展，他的性格也逐渐成长和成熟，后期渐渐摆脱了早年的莽撞少年作风。

Shi Jin is one of the earliest Liangshan heroes to appear in Water Margin. Tattooed with nine blue dragons across his body, he is known by the nickname “Nine-Tattooed Dragon.” Born into a wealthy family in Shijia Village in Huazhou, he is passionate about martial arts from an early age—a bold, headstrong young man with the privileged temperament of a rich family’s unruly son. After becoming a disciple of Wang Jin, an instructor of the Imperial Guards, his martial skills improve dramatically. Shi Jin’s youthful swagger, impulsive chivalry, dragon-covered body, and bare-chested warrior image give him exceptional visual impact. As the story progresses, however, he gradually matures and leaves behind much of the recklessness of his youth.
