Overview
多聞天王是佛教四天王之一,鎮守北方;在日本常稱毘沙門天或多聞天,通常以披甲護法形象出現,常持兵器與寶塔。
The Buddhist Guardian King of the North and one of the Four Heavenly Kings. In Japan, Vaiśravaṇa is widely known as Bishamonten or Tamonten and is represented as an armored protector, often with a weapon and miniature stupa.
