Wudang Sacred Mother is one of the four senior disciples standing closest to Tongtian Jiaozhu in Investiture of the Gods, alongside Duobao Daoist, Jinling Sacred Mother, and Guiling Sacred Mother. She attends her teacher when he enters the Immortal-Execution Formation, placing her among the highest-ranking Jie immortals as the conflict with the Chan leaders becomes open war.
After the four swords are lost, Tongtian gathers the remaining followers into the Myriad Immortals Formation. The description of the array places Wudang Sacred Mother among its principal figures with a treasure ready, while Jinling rides the Seven-Fragrance Carriage, Shen Gongbao commands from the Eight-Tiger Chariot, and many animal immortals guard separate gates. Her presence marks the formation as a final assembly of the surviving Jie hierarchy, not merely a mass of unnamed soldiers.
The battle kills Jinling, destroys Guiling, captures or converts many disciples, and scatters the rest. The novel does not give Wudang Sacred Mother a corresponding death, capture, or detailed closing duel; after the formation breaks, her later course is left unstated. A composed female Daoist bearing ritual treasure and standing close to Tongtian fits the text more securely than assigning her an invented weapon or defeat.
