Jin Wuzhu, also known simply as Wuzhu, is one of the principal Jin commanders in The Story of Yue Fei and one of the most persistent enemies faced by Yue Fei’s camp. A member of the Jin imperial house, he leads major armies southward and repeatedly fights Song forces across the Central Plains and the regions along the Yangtze and Huai rivers.
In the narrative, Jin Wuzhu is both a formidable warrior and a powerful field commander. He leads numerous Jin generals and confronts Song commanders such as Yue Fei and Han Shizhong. As the Yue Family Army grows in strength, the struggle between Yue Fei and Jin Wuzhu develops into one of the central military conflicts of the entire story.
Jin Wuzhu employs powerful formations and cavalry forces, including the famous Iron Pagoda cavalry and linked-horse tactics. Yue Fei’s commanders gradually devise methods to counter these advantages, and the long contest between the two armies culminates in major confrontations associated with places such as Zhuxian Town.
Within the CG character network, Jin Wuzhu is more than a single antagonist. He connects the generals of the Yue Family Army, the commanders of the Jin forces, and many of the battles, formations, and military episodes that define the Yue Fei narrative.
