Tongtian Jiaozhu is the supreme leader of the Jie tradition in Investiture of the Gods and one of the most important figures in the later stages of the Investiture war. The Jie school has a vast body of disciples, and many supernatural figures fighting around the Shang cause are connected with its religious network.
As the war between Shang and Zhou expands, conflict between Jie disciples and the Chan camp becomes increasingly intense. Figures such as Zhao Gongming and the Three Xiao Sisters enter the struggle, transforming what began as a dynastic war into a much larger confrontation among supernatural schools.
After many Jie disciples are killed, Tongtian Jiaozhu personally intervenes. He establishes the Immortal-Slaying Formation and confronts senior figures associated with Yuanshi Tianzun’s side. After that formation is broken, he gathers large numbers of followers for another major confrontation in the Ten Thousand Immortals Formation.
Tongtian Jiaozhu is not primarily a conventional battlefield commander. His defining role is that of a supreme supernatural teacher capable of reshaping the entire war. Within Celestial Generals, a Person Subject allows him to connect Zhao Gongming, the Jie network, Yuanshi Tianzun, and the enormous supernatural battles of the later Investiture narrative.
